Canberra Association '99 - Reunion and Dedication

Skies cleared as more than 200 former B-57 crew members, friends, and spouses met at the Air Force Museum, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio October 8-11 for the association's biennial meeting to dedicate, celebrate and reminisce.

In dedicating the plaque at the center memorial of the museum grounds, the speakers honored those who served by saying of the presentation, "...may it serve to remind us of our priceless heritage." A final reminder was the twenty-one gun salute and the playing of taps in honor of those who died in the service of their country.

The weekend was in brilliant autumnal colors as the attendees ate, talked, and toured the Dayton area - The Birthplace of Aviation.
